Constantine
This movie was watched on February 18 2005 at Sycamore Mall for the last showing at 9:30pm.
After leaving the film, I was surprised it wasn't worse than it turned out to be. I projected beforehand that with Keanu Reeves in it, it would be awful despite the wonderfully chaotic and somewhat frightening trailer for the film. It wasn't a great movie, but it was much much better than expected. I won't say that I was scared, but the plotline was semi-coherent and Keanu Reeves as John Constantine was relatively decent in the role. Thankfully, a stoic, exorcism wielding, hell-bound soul seems suited to his own personality sufficiently to where he didn't have to stretch much to do it and didn't ruin the picture in turn by his expressionless acting repertoire.
The other actors and characters were also decent, and we even get a chance to see Satan himself at one point (how lucky can we be?)
My rating out of 6 choices (great, good, decent, okay, crummy, terrible) is a decent.
